Privacy Policy – MeshVault Connector
The MeshVault Connector extension collects only the minimum data needed to capture supported 3D model downloads and send them to the MeshVault desktop app running on the user’s computer.

What we access

Website content on supported sites (page titles, author names, tags, and thumbnail URLs) to build metadata for saved models.
Download events and URLs to capture files.
The active tab URL to detect supported sites.
Local extension settings (default save folder and prompt‑per‑download).
What we do NOT collect

No keystrokes, mouse position, or form data.
No browsing history beyond the current supported page.
No data is sold or shared with third parties.

Where data goes

Captured files and metadata are sent only to the MeshVault desktop app on the same machine (localhost).
No data is sent to external servers.

Data retention

Settings are stored locally in the browser.
Files and metadata are stored in the user’s MeshVault library on their device.
